1. How long have you been working at Bayley & Sage and what different roles have you held within the company? What is your role now?
I have been working at B&S for 2.5 years and I am the Internal Auditor. My role involves current and fixed asset management.
2. What’s your favourite thing about working at Bayley & Sage?
My favourite thing about working at Bayley & Sage is the great atmosphere and the great people I get to work with.
3. Who or what has inspired you the most throughout your career?
I am inspired by my desire to put my all into everything I do. Which definitely comes from my dad. Growing up watching the way he works and the dedication he has will always push me forward.
4. Have you always worked in this industry? If not, what other types of roles have you held?
I have previously worked for a bank and at a university. In university I worked as a Student Support Officer for a company who helped students with disabilities have the most normal university experience possible, this was really eye opening and gave me a real appreciation for what others go through.
5. What’s the best advice you could give someone who’s just starting out in their career?
The best advice I can give is to be a sponge. Absorb all the knowledge you can and be open to learn as much as possible.
6. What are some of the accomplishments you’re most proud of?
The accomplishment I am most proud of is my Master’s Degree. In displaying my hard work and perseverance I was able to achieve a Distinction, which is the top grade.
7. What are you most looking forward to this year, both personally and professionally?
Professionally, I am looking forward to seeing the fruition of all the hard work we have been doing building the new MyPoS inventory system. I have put a lot of work into it and I can’t wait to see how much it will help the business moving forward.
Personally, I am looking forward to going on holiday with my wife and enjoying some time on the beach.
8. If you had to pick one item from B&S, what would you choose?
It’s hard to pick just one, but I would choose the Bbagel Challah bread. It has become to my favourite bread to make a lightly toasted sandwich with.
9. How do you spend your time when you’re not at Bayley & Sage?
I spend time with family and friends, going out or staying in watching Formula1 on the weekend.
10. What’s one interesting fact that we might not know about you?
My favourite music genre is EDM.
