1. How long have you been working at Bayley & Sage and what different roles have you held within the company? What is your role now?
I I have been working at Bayley & Sage for 4 years. I started as a team member in our Fulham Store, then I was promoted to Deli Supervisor in the Chelsea Store. Currently, I am working there as a Shift Leader.
2. What’s your favourite thing about working at Bayley & Sage?
Definitely the daily challenges – we are always learning something new. But above all, it’s meeting extraordinary people who inspire you to be better and to move forward.
3. Who has inspired you the most throughout your career?
My main inspiration has been my parents. They taught me to be passionate about every task and not to give up in the face of adversity. Instead, they encouraged me to become stronger.
4. Have you always worked in this industry? If not, what other types of roles have you held?
This is my first time working in this industry and in this beautiful country. Previously, I worked as an administrative assistant in my home country, Ecuador, and later in customer service in Spain.
5. What’s the best advice you could give someone who’s just starting out in their career?
I would say, try to learn as much as you can. Focus on every task and prioritize your time effectively.
6. What are some of the accomplishments you’re most proud of?
One of my dreams was to live in London and learn English, so I can proudly say that my dream has come true. It took time, but I am growing and able to apply the knowledge I gained from my previous jobs.
7. What are you most looking forward to this year, both personally and professionally?
Professionally, I am excited about the opportunities for training and development. Personally, I am looking forward to continuing my travels and exploring new countries and cultures.
8. If you could only eat one thing from Bayley & Sage for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
Definitely Spaghetti a la Bolognese!!!
9. How do you spend your time when you’re not at Bayley & Sage?
I enjoy walking and exploring new places, watching drama and romantic films based on true stories, and reading motivational books.
10. What’s one interesting fact that we might not know about you?
I love to dance!!!
