This Bordeaux trio brings together three distinct expressions of the region. Château du Val d’Or Saint Emilion Grand Cru 2019 leads with generous plum and gentle savoury notes that sit comfortably at the centre of the wine. The tannins are firm but calm, giving a sense of quiet depth without overpowering the fruit. There is a measured richness that unfolds slowly and leaves a steady, confident finish.
Château Cambon La Pelouse Haut Medoc 2020 has darker fruit and a slightly more structured feel. Blackcurrant and subtle spice shape the first impression, with a clean line of freshness running through the palate.
